Officiating & technical control

- Scoreboard is monitored by assigned officials.
- Net height may differ from official standards depending on the technical meeting decision.
Points System (How standings work)
The tournament uses a clear points model:
- Win 2–0: winner gets 2 points, loser gets 0
- Win 2–1: winner gets 2 points, loser gets 1
- Technical win: winner receives 2 points, loser receives 0
This system rewards teams that fight for sets—so even a narrow match can matter in group standings.
Eligibility & Age Rules (Very Important)
Teams are allowed to include up to 2 players older than the age group, but only maximum one year older.
If more than 2 older players are found on the court, the violating team is considered defeated with a 3–0 score.
Official Tournament Rules
Below are the official rules rewritten in a blog-friendly, match-day practical format.
Rule 1 — International rules + organizer decisions
The competition follows Official International Volleyball Rules. If there are questions not covered or situations requiring clarification, decisions are made by the Tournament Organizing Committee.
Rule 2 — Referees, officials, and technical meeting
Matches are refereed by Turkish Volleyball Federation (Antalya region) referees. Scoreboard/technical duties are handled by assigned officials. Net height may be finalized during the technical meeting (if adjustments are decided).
Rule 3 — Standings points
Group rankings are based on the points system above (2–0, 2–1, technical wins).
Rule 4 — Substitutions, roster, and no-show policy
-
Substitutions are unlimited, and players may leave and return.
-
Up to 14 athletes can be listed/used as the team roster for play.
-
Late arrival rule: There is a 10-minute waiting period. If a team does not appear within that time, it is considered the loser. This cannot be changed by mutual agreement (only the commission can decide in exceptional cases).
Rule 5 — Age control (important)
Teams may use up to 2 players who are one year older than the age category.
If more than 2 older players are identified on court, the team is considered defeated 3–0.

Rule 6 — Application list requirement
Each team must submit an Application List including team staff and players’ identity details, including international passport data. The form must be signed by the Team Leader and certified with appropriate seals where required.
Rule 7 — Match-day documents
Before every match, each coach must have:
-
a copy of the Application List
-
foreign passports available for verification
Rule 8 — Opponent verification & protests (dispute handling)
-
The opposing coach may request verification of a player’s documents in the presence of the match referee.
-
Age protests can be submitted before the match or within 15–20 minutes after the match ends.
-
The referee records the protest in short form in the match report.
Rule 9 — Multiple teams and kit requirements
A club/academy/school may register multiple teams (where applicable), but roster rules must be respected.
Teams must bring two sets of uniforms in different colors (light and dark) to handle color clashes.
Rule 10 — Match readiness, colors, and responsibility
-
Teams must be ready to play at least 15 minutes before match time.
-
If both teams have the same shirt color, the team listed second in the schedule changes (referee decision).
-
Team leaders are responsible for the discipline and behavior of supporters (parents/fans).
Substitutions, Roster Size & Late Arrival
- Substitutions: Unlimited; a player can leave and return again.
- Max athletes on court list: Up to 14 athletes can enter the field of play (tournament roster limit).
- Late arrival: There is a 10-minute waiting period. If a team doesn’t appear, it is considered the loser. This cannot be extended by agreement (except exceptional cases decided by the commission).
