Official Tournament Rules (Easy to Follow)

1) Team list timing

Teams must submit their running lists to the authorities 15 minutes before the match.

2) Squad size

Teams may play with minimum 5 and maximum 16 players.

3) Late arrival

There is a 10-minute waiting period. If the team does not arrive after this time, the match is forfeited. This cannot be extended by agreement between teams (except exceptional cases decided by the committee).

4) Match duration

All categories (U12, U14, U16) play 4 periods of 10 minutes.

5) Draws and overtime

If a match ends in a draw, 2-minute overtime periods are played until a winner is determined.

6) Ruleset

FIBA rules apply in all competitions.

Each team has 5 timeouts total:

  • 1 timeout in the 1st period

11) Referees and table officials

Matches are managed by Antalya Region referees of the Turkish Basketball Federation, and the scoreboard is kept by assigned officials.

12) Minimum matches guaranteed

Each team plays at least 5 matches during the tournament.

13) Age flexibility rule

Each team may have 2 players who are older than the age group, but only maximum one year older.
